Equestrian Drill Team Competition

On July 24th & 25th a unique Equine Event will take place in Duncan OK at the Stephens County Arena.
If you like beautiful horses & fast paced artistic events make plans to attend the 2009 Red Dirt Ride Region IV Competition.
This is 2 days filled with excitement and good family entertainment. The event is put on by the OKEDA and is USEDA sanctioned.

15 teams are already entered for an awesome competition. Most teams are from Oklahoma and Texas, 1 team is coming from Kansas and one is coming all the way from California. Last years Theme Division champions the Freedom Riders from Oklahoma will be returning to the competition as well as the defending Rodeo Division and Grand Champion class champions, the Canadian Valley Rangerettes also from Oklahoma. The Visalia Rockettes from California are past United States Equestrian Drill Team Competition National Champions that will be competing in 5 different classes. Prime Time Express from Texas placed in the top 3 at last years United States Equestrian Drill Team Competition in the National Championship division and will be competing at the Red Dirt Ride. Other teams competing at the Red Dirt Ride in Duncan will be: Bridle Path 4-H Riding Club, Canadian Valley Rangerette Novice, Candian Valley Rangerette Youth, Choctaw Dancing Hooves, Finisimo, Galloping Gals, Heartland Cowgirls, Prairie Wildfire Drill Team, Riders of Faith, Synergy Drill Team, and Texas Star Gaits.
