I loved the post on the other forum about the barrel horses
pedigrees...I love all the close up 'OLD' speed etc.

Now if someone could post all the rope horse pedigrees here that would be fantastic.

If you'll post the registered names of the horses I'm sure we can help find them on AQHA or Allbreed.  Fun subject!

Moon is the one I was trying to think of.  I always liked him alot.

This is a local Lucky Blanton stud that I like and was thinking of using next year on a old mare.

Oh my,I know one thing if I was raising using horses I would not pass this horse up.They will run and have lots of foot, bone and muscle.more than likley be fairly easy to get along with as well.I can't see going wrong so many good old solid using producers in his background.Ya know they say past four generations on the papers the blood is so deluted it doesn't matter but when you got all good horses as far back as you go it is still there I can't help but believe it.Good just keeps on being good.

I have a video of Red Mark Blanton steer tripping and heading. He is a big boy! In one shot of him heading, the steer was sour and just skidding along...Red Mark just dropped a little lower and pretty near jerked that steer out of his skin...then he faced up as fast as any head horse I've ever seen. It really is a shame that the Lucky Blanton bloodlines are as thin as they are. He was a real nice looking stud. I don't think you could go wrong breeding to Red Mark Blanton.

We actually only live a few miles from him.  We bought a 4 yr old Red Mark gelding a few years back and made him into one wicked head horse.  The Hoar's little girl who can't be more than 6 or so is barrel racing on Red Mark now, and he sure takes care of her.  We share the same vet and he's going to check out the old mare to see if he thinks she'll breed tommorrow when I have another mare checked back.  I just love the temperment and athletic ability he's got.

You are so lucky to be able to see him in the flesh. Now how cute would that be to see their little girl barrel racing on that big ole stud! I wish you luck with your mare at the vet's tomorrow.

yep.  Last time she was there they said she had some fluid in her uterus so want to check it out and see if we can't get that cleared up.  Vet swears he can get her all set up and good to go by spring.  I'll work up a pedigree and see what you think  Put these 2 old farts together and this is what I'd get:

My only preference is 4 straight legs and gray and breathing.  I'd kind of like a filly in all honesty.

That would be a nice mix there tee!

It's hard to find any of the horses names with these ropers, geesh all they brag about in their profiles is themselves...

At least the girls have their horses listed in theirs!

I know last year is a long time ago but the palomino stallion that Sherry Cervi ran part of the time at the NFR last year is a full brother to Bozo. He was also top three in the voting for heeling horse of the year. Sounds like he earned his oats.
